Marjorie, plant-based hairdresser and barber at home in Ericeira
After 11 years of experience in different hair salons in Paris, Ardèche and in different cities around the world, Marjorie created The Sweet Roots and settled down in Ericeira, Portugal. She offers her hairdressing services at home and those for the whole family, in Ericeira, Mafra and the surrounding area.
In order to protect your health, your hair and the planet, and for best results, The Sweet Roots works as much as possible with plant-based and organic products.
Conventional chemical hair dyes contain ingredients that are harmful not only for our hair but also for our general health. The majority of the ingredients contained in these dyes (ammonia, paraphenylenediamine, etc.) are endocrine disruptors and can interfere with the proper functioning of our hormones.
The plant-based hair colors are only composed of tinctorial and ayurvedic plants, they are sun-dried and then grounded into a very fine powder which will be mixed with warm water.
All products used are vegan and not tested on animals.
The Sweet Roots works with Hairborist, an Eco Garantie Belgian brand (the most demanding Belgian ecological label), the products do not contain parabens, silicones or mineral oils.
